At some point recently Huy Fong sambal oelek became impossible to find locally, and now I see that it's scarce online as well. I presume supply chain issues or some nonsense.

This is my default house condiment - anyone got either a source for it or a very close substitute? (please do not suggest sriracha, the ketchup of chili sauces)

Had the same issue. Found a good substitute at one of the Asian markets in San Mateo. Will send you a picture when I get home. Different brand, same great flavor.
