How do you use lists with air replies

to filter people, so you have better flow of overall chat

Or maybe we're being helped by Rabbit. Rabbit cannot use lists, but it does have a column that displays only Japanese posts from Japan-specific relays.

oh, hmm πŸ€”

what if you could only post to that channel?

We cannot post only to that channel. In Rabbit's Japanese column, Japanese words are sorted and displayed from among the regular posts of a specific relay.

I see non-japanese content too

I think so.

I think this habit of using air-reply is working well because there are few Japanese speakers today. This will probably no longer work if the number of users increases in the future.

I learned that many people around the world communicate in English, not their native language. High-context communication in the Japanese community was achieved in part by narrowing down the viewing languages and thereby limiting the target audience.

That's why I think it's very difficult to get everyone to understand. However, if you are interested, there is also a website where you can take a look at the timeline of Japan's relays, so please check it out from time to time.πŸ˜‰
