In the 90s I would get home from school then grab my bike and meet up with a friend and ride around dirt construction sites for hours until after dark then come home and mom would be pissed

But rinse repeat do it again the next day 😂

Same

In the '70s, it was a skateboard and new paving we were looking for. Lynyrd Skynyrd pronounced had just been released and Led Zeppelin was rocking.

Now Those were the good ole days!

I would basically do the same thing, especially during summer when school was out. I've been gone for hours on end with no parent or guardian knowing where I was. The 90s was a crazy time. Can't imagine parents letting their kids do that now though.

Going to parties, getting drunk, everyone being mean to me because of it, but no photo evidence, so memories were allowed to fade. Good times.

Also, a lot of bike riding was done, parents had zero idea where I was, and they were fine with in. Just left the kids at home for around 20 minutes, and moderately concerned, need to sort myself out as a parent.
