I think Walmart has been already doing this, they have the ability to ban you from all Walmart stores now if you do something in one from what I've heard.
Unsure why Benjamin Jankowski needed to see a 'green rectangle' around his face as proof for the class action suit. But for sure it was intimidating.
It's, OTOH, obvious what said Home Depot, (and for example, Tesco, Lidl, and Sainsbury in the UK) could use screens with cameras at every self-tendering till.
Of course that displaying your captured footage plus security dressed like police are intimidating experience.
If they hate their customers so much and everyone is a thief why to bother with even having a retail business? Why to make shopping experience a miserable one?
