I've always been Ava on this account. I actively used a pseudonym hashtag for a while, but I haven't always shown my face. IMO, if people come to Nostr and all they see are nyms and anon pfps, it will be hard to attract new users and foster Nostr growth.

Nostr is not just for hackers and anons, and it has been said that perception is nine-tenths of reality. People should feel welcome to be themselves on Nostr. People should also feel welcome to set up and do official business here. It's easy to set up multiple accounts for other purposes, so it's a win-win in my book.
