Money that could have been used to start to fix the healthcare system, fix the lack of teachers, fix the homeless situation.

You cannot take care of others, when you cannot take care of yourself first as a country…….
This applies at the level of society and at the level of a individual household……..
For instance, should you pay your neighbors mortgage first when you yourself carry a large mortgage……
