2. Install it on your desktop computer or laptop (Windows, OSX and Linux)

3. Wait for the software to download the blockchain (WARNING: It's more than a 300 GB download) which could take anywhere from days to weeks

4. When you're set, connect your bitcoin wallet to your node and start verifying your own transactions
