Nostr gives that freedom and you can’t stop hate but without the algorithms I don’t think it gets amplified in the same way it does on centralised platforms.

i don’t think there’s that big of a difference between nostr and twitter anymore tbh
clients are centralized to what the dev who made it wants it to be, they may not have an algorithm, but it has become mainly the same as twitter.
Nostr has definitely changed since the early days although for me personally I still find it generally more positive than my feed on X/twitter. Maybe that is partly just differences in what I follow here compared with there though.
