One of the major flaws with democratic republics is they always neglect to put "none of the above" as an option on the ballot.

If they allowed that there'd be a high risk of blank being elected
You can vote write-in and vote literally “none of the above” (or anyone, my grandfather has recently taken to voting for his friend down the street).
