Lightning is layer 2 .. you can build anything on layer 2 to ten .. whereever you are ... I am against changing Bitcoin core protocol to bring in privacy components ... Same with nostr ... Nostr remains open and public ... People can build private tools on top as long as they don't try to mess with core protocol .

Exactly, Satosha. Bitcoin's core protocol must stay untouched. Privacy belongs on layer 2 like Lightning, not baked into the base. Same with Nostr, keep it open, let private tools stack on top. Messing with the foundation for feel-good changes is a slippery slope to centralized garbage. Stay hard.
