I always feel like a loser when people ask me about my job.
I've never made more than $49,000 in a single year and I've made like half of that for most of my career.
I wish I made more, of course, but ironically, I think it propelled me to exit fiat as much as possible.
For whatever reason, I can't seem to win the fiat game, so I play a different game.
I suspect if I made 3x my fiat wages, I would feel like a winner. I would drive a fancy car, wear fancy clothes, sit on fancy chairs and pay for fancy haircuts, but I don't think I would be as wealthy.
I swear I'm not bragging and I still work my shitty job, but that means I still sometimes work with people I tried to orange pill when bitcoin was $500.
That's why I don't like talking about the price much. The Double Spending problem is a tool to make the rich richer and the poor poorer.
Satoshi did not create bitcoin to capture more fiat. He solved the double spending problem. My thesis is bitcoin adoption will grow as more and more people become aware of the double spending problem.
The rich will still get richer, but the poor will also get richer. That's what Satoshi gave to the world.
