Hear me out, I just had a brain fart:
Start a social media campaign to bring more people to Nostr and content creators to nostr.
We pick a day/week something like the 1st of August and declare something like “Join Nostr” day”week.
We rally the #plebchain plebs to all share it and make big noise and help onboard new people to nostr.
I only have a small following but everyone played their part who knows could turn into something with big network effect.
Thoughts?
We could even try raise some satoshis and send people any newcomers one sats as like referral reward.

I like the idea, also plan for the whole welcoming/onboarding process, organic growth and quality over raw quantity is the way, IMO
I'd wait for a bit until the ecosystem stabilizes. Right now the development is rapid and a bit chaotic, which is good overall. but normies could take this kinda hard.
Clients and relays need some time to mature a little and then I'd go for a massive campaign push. In zhe meantime, as far as I am aware we are getting organic traction and grow a little every day.
Also if anything, as far as I can tell. the best time to advertise Nostr is after/during any fuckup by big tech SM.
For example rate limits were great in this regard. I suspect Twitter rebranding will be another one and Theeads is bound to fuck up in a major way soon enough too.
We had nostr november last year when some people stopped using Twitter and exlusively used nostr. That's when I got into it.
I guess we could wait til November again.
