I don't really have an answer for "everything is a scam except bitcoin" that would convince these fruitcakes. it's an article of faith. it's like trying to convince a christian that any of their beliefs are incorrect. they start screeching and having a violent meltdown if you press hard enough, and it lets them feel like they are special, a select few on the right path, better than you.
to be fair it's like that with most things. people (mostly) do not change their views based on contrary evidence, they change them when their trust model changes.
even people that want to be analytic and reasoning people generally have to be very very careful because they're information sources come back to primary trust assumptions.
but you're absolutely right the number of bitcoiners that think that they're some special anointed class are far far too many
