Nowadays not only charities, every single business asks for as much data as they can when there's no other need for it except selling it or leaking it.
People just give away unnecessary info easily and without asking any questions.
Yesterday I went to a restaurant that only lets you on the waiting list after taking your phone number and sending a text message. Restaurant KYC! Hopefully people will wake up.

Prolly not if u anon donate. Standard deduction is so high now though makes reporting small donations pointless unless your state has some credits for small donations.
