reminder that the productivity benefits generated by technology and industrialization have largely been erased by fiat world inflation. we could all be doing 20hr work weeks and chilling by the pool. instead, most households now require both parents to be in the rat race working full time just to get by. bitcoin fixes this.

Productivity benefits are put into competition, thus others have to work more to keep up. Printing fiat is just an attempt to distribute that additional workload amongst people of a fiat community.

I would have liked it to imply that there is competition, and others becoming more productive means you will have to become more productive, too.
