I deeply appreciate your thoughtful and in-depth answer to what I will admit was a very lazily asked question. My question was intentionally vague, because I know this can be a very inflammatory issue on the Internet.

I agree on the issue of an open web. Whole heartedly. I spent my young adult years protesting for net-neutrality, and fighting SOPA.

I have seen some very concerning things out of Mozilla concerning free-speech issues and moderation. This places me in a moral quandary because I am what would be considered a free-speech absolutist.

I have also been very disturbed at certain reports about the wages taken by the C-suite at Mozilla, their funding sources (and hey, I get that nobody wants to actually pony up for FOSS software - I do try to be part of the solution).

I knew from previous conversations that you would have carefully evaluated your support for a product, and I was curious what your personal reasons for staying a supporter were. Thank you again for your most excellent response, and the gift of your time to answer a very vague question.

I hear you, you raise some very important concerns, and yes I do carefully evaluate my support for products. I'm happy to hear that comes across. Thank you for your kind words 💜
