Decentralized GIF buttons are the hardest thing to develop. Claude Opus 4.5 can't even figure it out.

What is gif button? The ability to add a GIF from something like GIPHY API?
Yes! But the issue is that GIPHY and Tenor APIs track users. gifbiddy.lol exists though so some day we might have a solution.
Wtf is a decentralized gif button?
A button that allows users to search for and post gifs, but doesn't track users and isn't centralized to one service.
Was only yesterday I was about to ask this question of the community after noticing my reply to a note ended up as my own post after trying to attach a gif.
So much has been developed so far so Im guessing this is a lot harder than it would seem.
What if gifs were just events with keywords? And you could search this event type by keyword and just reference the existing event in your note instead of uploading new data?
