If by too much you mean having jobs in an agency that is explicitly unconstitutional and enabling the theft of trillions of dollars over the years, then absolutely they do too much or get away with too much,

Imo, I don't think most federal agencies will exist within the next five years or so.

Because they will become one big super group and kill us all with AI and then no one will exist, so technically yes
I just think many will begin to lose relevance over time. Simply Sarah wasn't entirely wrong; AI will, most likely, play a huge role in replacing certain professions that are currently managed by humans. That paired with decentralization might lead to state and local authorities playing a bigger role in regulations which federal agencies used to be in full control of. There's also just the huge level of distrust of these agencies; public sentiment will play a big role.
