Funny, just the other day I did something similar and checked what old mails I could find.

Guess I trashed the MtGox account-creation mail, but I found the verification mail.

But MtGox wasn't my first BTC-exchange, that was BitMarket.eu about 1 year earlier.

It's been a fun rollercoaster ride so far and it only gets better over time.
