As a kid, we had such a cord in my house, I have no idea why … but I did plug one end in and the other I put my finger into.
That’s as close to god as I ever want to come. Not a fun experience.

I made one that had an ethernet plug on the other end. Was inspired by some derivative of BOFH (bastard operator from hell). It worked like a charm, and killed the ethernet chip pretty reliably 😜
But I only used it on old machines on the way out, 'cause I was actually a Good Boy™
