If you can't critically evaluate your favorite coin, what are you even doing here?

The only reason Bitcoin got this far is because of critical thinking and preparing for adversarial situations. If we can't continue to do that, we're screwed.

Generally, Monero Bros are willing to talk about trade-offs critically. Bitcoin maxis not so much. lol

There are Monero Maxis though but maybe they stayed on Twitter?

u calling me a Monero maxi? eh, maybe. I am interested in whatever fills the use case of digital cash the best and currently Monero seems to do the job that it needs to.

In my mind that seems to be the maxi bridge right there.

If you cross over from "saving Bitcoin, spending Monero" to "don't touch Bitcoin at all,"

then you're a maxi.

I say this as someone who is ⅔ Monero, ⅓ Bitcoin 🫢

Yeah, I advocate for it as SOV. Gold is clearly a good SOV with 1.5% inflation so i see no reason Monero couldnt do even better at 0.85% and falling.

I've not really considered myself as a maxi simply because I am willing to look at challengers if they appear. What I want is the absolute best digital cash and whatever is solving that need is where I want to be at.
