It took longer than I anticipated to have spam flooding Nostr. This is inevitable when creating accounts and posting both cost nothing. That is why paid relay is the only way. More precisely I would like to join and only join pay-per-post relay. Pay or play with the spam/AI/ads bots, the choice is clear to me.

I use Iris and barely see any spam(too bad iris struggles with fetching posts for me)

Don’t say that too soon, it is only a matter of time before the spam crack Iris filter. The only way to prevent spam is cost to spam.
