I have advocated bitcoin self custody for many years now, and many of my friends lost it no matter how many times I told them the importance of backup.
I don’t think you understand their fiat mindset still thinks they can call someone to recover their wallet.
100 percent, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make make them Drink. We literally saying the same thing and I dont know what you getting stuck up on. Making them buy a 200 dollar signing device if they can't even secure their bitcoin for free won't save them.. .... ........ . . ....
The whole point is that they’ll forget about the mere $200, which in 5 years will be more than $2k and by then they have lost the private key
