Yes agreed, which is why I am more interested in it from the angle of my concern over the monopolistic corporations I see being built today, and that were represented as an issue in the series.

That said, there wasn’t a solution offered as I recall, so it’s more a case of ‘here’s a problem’ and I guess we already know that.. but I don’t see it talked about much amongst libertarian bitcoiners.

There is much talk of issues with govt which I understand, but not about the issues with massive, multi-national corporations.

For example, while Elon is clearly some kind of genius in some ways, he is also building the ultimate surveillance/control panopticon, when you consider his group of companies, including Starlink, Tesla, Neuralik, Optimus, SpaceX, Grok and X.

We don't talk about it because it's only a real issue when it's cronyism. Corporate & State in bed pyshing regulations that keep competition out. Otherwise it should be one on one interactions and if a corporation becomes the main provider of a product or service it's because the costumers approve. Monopolies are government creations. Without gov coercion the panopticon could only exist if people agree to use the product. Like all the KYC regulations and communication backdoors the gov requires of corps. Those are gov/fiat created problems. People signing up to use grok ai and handing over all their details voluntarily is their problem and should not be legislated beyond breach of contract.
