I forget exactly what we said so I may just be repeating it but everybody besides Marxists thinks central banking is “capitalistic” and so dares not attack any of the consequences of fiat because it seems to them like they’d be attacking freedom itself. Marxists obviously don’t care about attacking freedom, hence they are fine (inadvertently) attacking fiat, and end up being the only people who point out things like the obvious evils of consumerism … besides bitcoiners!

I’m still on Chapter 2, so haven’t got in to “This is not capitalism” yet, but I’m already realizing that Bitcoin very likely ushers in a new form of economics. The free market is still vital, and capitalism, in its true sense, is still the best way to organize (imo), but I don’t see why Bitcoin wouldn’t create a new economic philosophy altogether.

We’re truly living through revolutionary times and it’s amazing that we live in an age we’re so many people can understand that in real time, as it’s happening, and not just the philosophical leaders and power brokers.
