I'm mostly being silly about your points. Though, I do prefer most of the Appalachian mountain chain to most other places on planet earth.

I've only driven over the Rockies once, in a really bad uhaul. So I didn't enjoy that trip at all.

If I had the money for it living in the mountains of Alaska would be it for me. Some of the most beautiful landscapes I’ve ever seen.
