That’s the type of dislocation I’m finding info on - sorry to say it looks more painful than what I’m experiencing.

Mine is at the top knuckle. The finger wants to move left and right where it joins the hand. None of the up and over stuff.

Pinky just healed this way. No pain. I can do this 🤙🏻 with flair better than most.

Yeah. It was on my birthday. Super sauced. Took months to not feel anything. If it was any other finger, I’d gotten it looked at immediately.

Just reset it, then use two Ice cream sticks as support braces and wrap it up.

Get this often enough

I taped it to the index finger for now. It’s not so much that it stays out of socket, rather it pops out easily with any pressure (like if I pick up a piece of paper). Then it goes back into place on its own.

Anyway, I held off from removing the finger thanks to the advice in the screenshot.
