Cubensis mushrooms are normally located around herding animals growing out of their dung. In the Hindu tradition Cows are highly regarded and the mention of “soma” is prevalent in their holy text. Many have connected the dots and say that this must be because of the mushrooms 🍄 that grow out of the the cow dung and possibly the mushroom is the “soma”.
