What do you usually use?

claude sonnet 4, but lately a lot of z.ai glm-4.5

you would take a huge producitivity hit so its not usually worth it unless you are doing something private.

Have you tried vibe coding NixOS configurations?

nixpkgs moves so fast, its usually just easier to grep nixpkgs to find out where things are.

I sometimes do things like "give me the nix shell for these deps"

I put a small bounty of someone can create a tutorial for it.

I understand the drawbacks, I’m just curious how it works and if it actually does.
