Exactly how is a Gold Standard going to be revived without internet-compatible IOUs that, ironically, reintroduce the same problems that #Bitcoin has already solved?

*anything* standard requires trust, which no government has. It has to be implemented by fiat.

Circular economy in bitcoin is possible but it’s a long road.
