⚡️🇪🇦 NEW - BBVA, Spain's second largest bank, announces the official opening of its #Bitcoin and #Ethereum trading and custody services to retail customers via its mobile app.

Users can now buy, sell and hold cryptocurrencies autonomously via the BBVA app.

"We want to make it easier for our retail customers in Spain to invest in crypto-assets, thanks to a simple, easy-to-access digital solution on their cell phone. Our aim is to accompany them as they explore digital assets, backed by the strength and security of a bank like BBVA." says Gonzalo Rodríguez , head of the bank's Spanish operations.

The service is developed in-house and does not rely on any third-party platform.

BBVA has announced the launch of other cryptocurrencies and tokenized products in the future.
