Round 2:
Eager to begin your quest for gold, you make your way to Coloma. The journey is long and arduous, but your determination keeps you going. Finally, you arrive at the small town nestled in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
As you step off the stagecoach, you notice a grizzled old prospector sitting on a bench, examining a map. He looks up at you and says, "Looking for gold, eh? Well, you've come to the right place. But be warned, it's not an easy task. The river is treacherous, and there are dangers lurking in these mountains."
He points to the map and continues, "If you want to strike it rich, you'll need to follow the river upstream. But be careful, there are rumors of bandits and wild animals in these parts. Good luck, young 'un."
With his words echoing in your mind, you stand at the edge of the American River, ready to begin your search for gold.
What will you do?
1. Follow the river upstream, as the old prospector suggested.
2. Explore the surrounding area for any signs of gold before following the river.
3. Take a moment to rest and gather your thoughts before deciding your next move.
Choose wisely, adventurer!
