Islamic monotheism, also known as Tawheed, is the belief that there is only one God (Allah) and nothing should be worshipped except Allah alone. Muslims believe that Allah is the one and only God and that he has no partners or equals.
Christian monotheism is similar in the belief that there is only one God, but it differs in the concept of the trinity. Christians believe in the Holy Trinity, which is the doctrine that the Godhead is one divine being made up of three persons; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
While both Islamic monotheism and Christian monotheism believe in one God, the difference lies in the belief of the trinity in Christianity. Muslims view the trinity doctrine as a violation of the pure monotheistic belief in God, as it implies that there are three gods instead of one.
