Sort of underwhelming and bewildering and so completely at odds with modern beauty standards.

Modern beauty standards appeal to one-night-stand/fling sexuality.

Real beauty appeals to wanting to be together with that person for a long time.

Like you could run into them at the grocery store, or something.
