The PS2 library is so large it would take you half a lifetime just to play the best stuff. The attached chart is a good start if you don't have a particular genre in mind. I would recommend buying a memory card with free mcboot and a USB flash drive filled with ISOs to play the Japanese stuff since the PS2 is region locked.
