Does anyone see reality clearly, however?
Discussion
I think in some ways we do. In other ways, we may be close but there is possibility that we end up being wrong. What do you think?
This reminds me of my favorite quote from the goated best character from Naruto.

I don't think anyone truly has a full grasp on reality. To see reality clearly, one would need access to all available information, something no one ever has.
Even in The Matrix, the red pill reveals the truth about the illusion, but it doesn’t grant complete clarity about reality beyond that system.
To me, being red-pilled means being open to new information and thinking critically to get as close to the truth as possible.
Being blue-pilled is choosing to remain in a comfortable version of reality, avoiding information that might challenge it.
Interestingly, there are no red-pilled individuals who claim to be blue-pilled, but there are many blue-pilled individuals who claim to be red-pilled.
Itachi is great. It’s even more powerful that he specializes in genjutsu which literally distorts your perception of reality. I agree with what you are saying. I don’t think one can ever be redpilled on the true nature of reality. But I think we can have a firm understanding of some realities. For example, we are aware of the reality that contact with fire causes physical pain in normal circumstances. This is accepting reality. The nature of that pain may not be known but the sensation is known through our own experience/perception. You can say that babies are not aware of this reality because they often have to get burned first before they learn.
I suppose we need a clearer definition of what it means to be red-pilled. Is it about being right about something, or is it a mindset/an approach to seeking truth?
Can someone be red-pilled yet still be wrong about reality? And conversely, can someone be blue-pilled yet still be correct about a particular aspect of reality?
My definition of being redpilled is that you have gained awareness of reality after seeing it incorrectly. For example, in the matrix neo learns that the world he is living in is an illusion. The redpill wakes him up to the dystopian world that is actual reality. A modern example would be learning that fiat is the root of most problems in the world today and that inflation isn’t actually good or necessary for growth.
Interesting, so your definition is more of a discovery of the truth, if I understand correctly?
Yeah I guess you can say that. In my post, I’m basically explaining that some of these “redpilled” haven’t discovered the whole truth or haven’t fully accepted that reality. At some point the money printing stops pissing you off as much because you learn to accept it as reality. It’ll never stop.
