Here's the thing: The GUIs don't actually add anything. They just create complexity on top, or they offer fields for you to put the words into, instead of typing the words onto the line.

i've been finding AI written commit messages to be quite convenient, they pretty much nail it except fluff it a bit with "reasons" for the changes which are usually the least accurate things they put in there, but it does seem to guess pretty good like 4/5 or better
