Could you use a badge that started as a pass to a class and finished with a complete badge/certificate upon completion?

Seems perfect for education certification then , or even tickets to events , probably some way to organize your badges would be necessary
I would abstract away from the term “badge” and group it under a more general term and allow all of these use cases under that umbrella. You’d have a client which does essentially the same thing slightly different under different terminology.
