We don't need less relays running and accepting everything.. that's going to be a problem in the future with spam. Better more people run relays and have a method of sending a message to join a new relay.
btw, #realy also already accepts this category of events from anyone

i'm not sure you understood the implications of what i just explained, and what wss://mleku.realy.lol is already doing
all of the 11k users who are allowed to post on it when they post these kinds of events they can be read by anyone
i don't think i'm being greedy restricting write access to those who i follow, follow, i thought it was a nice threshold, and it turns out to be quite a large number of people
#realy makes it really simple to spin up a personal relay, you literally just designate your npub in the configuration and it accepts all your follows and follows follows events, and it allows anyone to read that list of event kinds
yeah, to be clear, it doesn't accept these events from everyone
only that list
but if the clients broadcast these event kindfs for them it would solve that problem
