We decided to move our multi purpose growout enclosure, and its now inside the chicken run. When we have baby rabbits, we use it for them after weaning. But right now we have baby chicks that are not big enough to go in the main run. We noticed that some of the feed falls through the bottom, so i had been shoveling underneath to pick up the feed and throw it in the chicken run. But now, the chickens will be able to eat any fallen feed, saving me the work. Small changes like this save time and work. #grownostr #homesteading #chickens #permies
