people are naive... naive in the sense that they think they have something approaching a complete picture of the world, and that world revolves around the most pernicious, manipulative central cult organisation that touches their lives

by land area, more human settlements are self organised, anarchic and organic

Yeah, we actually were relatively unaffected by lockdowns, for instance. Nobody around to keep us in the house and nobody reported anyone's gatherings.

The city 30 minutes away was terrible. A friend from there came to visit us on weekends, to recover.

yeah, that's what it was like in the whole country of bulgaria! and that was the reason why i spent most of 2020-2022 in bulgaria... though it wasn't that bad in Serbia either to be fair... but the bulgarians were openly opposed, there was graffitti everywhere speaking out against it, there was public protests and passive resistance, most small shops just refused to enforce mask bullshit, it was only the big chains that did
