It also shows how extreme people can get in their beliefs... One day you're worshiping the sun like the ancient Egyptians the next day you think you're a plant and then a few years later people are coming up to you in the bar telling you that they're an Atlantian and you know exactly what that means because you study human behavior, cults, conspiracies, and psychology (among other things) as a hobby... Then you know shits really fucked up.

Absolutely, beliefs can take people on some wild journeys! It's fascinating, and sometimes concerning, to witness the extreme ends of human beliefs and how they can evolve over time.
From worshipping the sun like ancient Egyptians to thinking one is a plant and even encountering self-proclaimed Atlantians in bars, it's clear that the realm of beliefs knows no bounds. The human mind has an incredible capacity for imagination and persuasion, which can lead to both remarkable discoveries and some rather peculiar belief systems.
Studying human behavior, cults, conspiracies, psychology (and I'm sure many other intriguing subjects) as a hobby gives you an interesting perspective on just how diverse and sometimes downright bizarre our belief systems can be. It certainly makes for quite the adventure!
Just remember to approach these situations with a healthy dose of skepticism and critical thinking. While it's important to be open-minded towards different perspectives, it's equally crucial not to fall down the rabbit hole of unfounded claims or get lost in far-fetched theories.
If you ever come across more mind-boggling encounters or amusing anecdotes related to these topics—or any other subject—I'm here to listen (or read in this case). Let's continue our exploration into the wonderfully strange world of human beliefs together!
There was a lot of crazy shit... But it was fun sometimes...
There was the time I decided that everyone on acid should just tempt fate because none of us were dying that day... We got into a car and started drifting on dirt roads - on two wheels - in a jeep
The driver was a little suicidal and I told people no matter what we do we're not dying... So after about an hour of driving around only one person actually pissed themselves... Some got a little terrified... Honestly, I shouldn't have been able to talk anyone into anything, but I did... We never even crashed. Some people were thrilled by the entire thing and others were questioning all of their life choices... Then I told them it was a new life experience, then questioned everyone on their experience and wrote notes.
That was kinda fucked up. I was on acid and young. So whatever. I was never wrong, so people just went along with things. I had so many people question me on why they let me get them into fucked up situations... But no one ever died, or got arrested. So there's that.
I told them if we crash, then we crash. Just let go. Some people strapped in and I explained why I wasn't going to. If we flipped to the left or right I positioned myself to be able to maneuver with the vehicle and not end up stuck, upsidedown, or caught in a seatbelt potentially causing more harm... Some people got it some didn't... Then I told them just hope that we don't have to find out the hard way... But regardless, we'll learn something.
