45000+ blocks have been mined since the mempool last cleared.

Sats/vB sitting at 11 across the board right now.

Will the mempool be full for an entire year? Will it ever clear again? Will we ever see ~1sat/vB ever again?

got still 650MB in my mempool

so i would say it will not clear in 2024

Mempool.space has 850MB or so still, and surely there are others that never purge anything that will are still around 1gig or higher, but hey you never know!
