Reading that right now, I'm 12% thru on the Kindle version.
It's a very interesting read and I can see a lot of relevance to todays society and the people in it.

I seriously need to make time to read that book. I've been telling myself that I'll get around to it for years, but I'm always too tired or something else always pops up.
I need more vacation time to read it in earnest 😂
Atlas Shrugged is a absolute behemoth of a book. (in page count and content)
I know 😫😂
I've heard and read similar things from friends and reviews. I hope I enjoy it as much as I did 1984.
I struggled with 1984, it was too depressing.
Same😂. The past thirteen years have left me pretty burnt out😅☠️.
I understand critics of the writing style but the amount of parallels it has to today's world is crazy. No other work of fiction does the same level of justice to the ideas discussed. And it gets much better as it goes on - the end of part 2 and transition to part 3 is very good. I'm jealous that you are reading it for the first time.
Enjoy!
