Do you have a reliable way to label your fruit trees and bushes? I don't have a printer and we have different varieties that I want to keep track of (for pollination, for propagation and sharing).

I'll be working on a decent map but our land is hilly and complex - lots of nooks and crannies - so that's challenging, and I'd love some kind of tag that can go on or next to each one. Permanent marker on normal plant labels are fading within a season for me.

Color coded marking tape can help on trees. Make your system of what is what and put it somewhere visible and protected from the sun (if possible).

Electrical tape can be bought in 10 packs of the colors from the resistor color code. Easy wrap labeling of any numbers. 6 of the 10 are the rainbow in order and the other 4 are obvious dark to light so easy to learn if you don't already know it.

Great for labeling extension cords, antennas, and power bricks.

Thank you! the issue is that it's many varieties of each type (different apple or blueberry plants) so I'd have to have quite a series of codes for the colors.
