Yes I do. If you’re asking for recommendations, these are my top 5 overall rank of preference in terms of convenience, security, open-source, and air-gap functionality:
1. nostr:npub1s0vtkgej33n7ec4d7ycxmwt78up8hpfa30d0yfksrshq7t82mchqynpq6j
2. ColdCard
3. nostr:npub1jg552aulj07skd6e7y2hu0vl5g8nl5jvfw8jhn6jpjk0vjd0waksvl6n8n
4. nostr:npub17tyke9lkgxd98ruyeul6wt3pj3s9uxzgp9hxu5tsenjmweue6sqq4y3mgl (if you trust yourself to handle DIY products)
5. nostr:npub1tg779rlap8t4qm8lpgn89k7mr7pkxpaulupp0nq5faywr8h28llsj3cxmt (Bitcoin edition only; not airgapped but still incredibly robust in convenience & security)
although Blockstream may usurp #2 with its new Jade Plus but I haven’t tried it yet.
Highly recommend using Sparrow Wallet as your wallet interface!
Another piece of advice for Bitcoin-related cold storage: try to refrain acquiring anything that isn’t..
• open-source
• air-gapped
• coming from a reseller third-party service (Amazon, eBay, etc).
**** In other words, stay away from Ledger ****
Always purchase DIRECTLY from the manufacturer and DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH on how to utilize these devices.
I’d recommend watching nostr:npub1rxysxnjkhrmqd3ey73dp9n5y5yvyzcs64acc9g0k2epcpwwyya4spvhnp8' amazing tutorials for how to set up your cold storage devices & even show you how to use the Sparrow Wallet.
I hope this helps, mate. Cheers! 🤙🏼
Right on, that’s what I wanted to hear. Already wasted 100 on bitkey, hoping I can avoid that this time.
From what I have been reading, I am really impressed with foundation and their infrastructure and it looks like that prime wallet would future proof a need for another any time soon.
Thank you for your time.
