I just stumbled across this video where RFK Jr. points out that in 2022 the US gave $113 Billion to the military-industrial-complex for weapons in Ukraine (and many billions more was to come), but with that money could have built a home for each of the approximately 550,000 homeless people in the US at that time.

I'm not saying government should be spending money that way, but if you're choosing between the lesser of two evils anyway...
