they think i'm chanting spells whenever i start talking about economics
it’s so funny seeing their faces get confused but i want to educate them
they're paying their mortage back for another 10-20 years, so all in all, it's an okay way to invest their money in the real estate they live in

I bought a home right after I finished University (I was the first home owner inside my friends social bubble). Yes it is “just” a big van with kitchen, bed and electricity inside, but hey, who is the president of home definition? Home does not have to cost hundreds of thousands dollars :).

The struggle is real!
It’s rarely easy. People have so many assumptions and it’s hard to know which way is the way “in” for a given individual. The more you listen to their objections/concerns, the more you may find areas to offer insight or answers that are meaningful to that person.
