Wallet of Satoshi is *fine* as a custodial wallet, but won't work here in the USA. They left the USA market last year because of regulations. Has something changed?

Blue Wallet is great for a on-chain non-custodial wallet, but doesn't have Lightning capabilities.

This is all confusing 😩

Have a look at Muun.

Yup, confusing. I didn't realize that with Wallet of Satoshi. Sigh. Very hard to find something.

If you want a simple non-KYC but also custodial wallet, then I'll recommend using nostr:nprofile1qqst4qyeqenw7zm0fwjsty68h6cnys5jre2xd8ngqpjv5a2j26s78fspzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujucm0d9hx7uewd9hj75a0pev for a Lightning wallet. You can just go to their website and sign up and use it instantly. You don't own the keys, so I wouldn't use it for more than a spending wallet if I were you. I'd probably keep maximum of 1M sats in there, but probably much less, like a few hundred thousand.

You said earlier you didn't like Strike but I'll tell you that I use Strike for all of my bitcoin purchases. I also use them for my receiving of Zaps. I used to use my own wallet that ran on my node and I still may go back to doing that at some point, but I moved to Strike because I had an issue with my personal setup here.

Blue wallet seems to be supporting Lightning, but only through your own node (I am not at that level of bitcoin mastery yet!) : https://bluewallet.io/lightning/
