Wife and I went to local movie theatre to see It’s a Wonderful Life on the big screen last night. Hearing the prices of things in that movie is always cold slap in the face. #Bitcoin fixes this.

You're right. The prices of things SHOULD be going down but we've been conditioned to think inflation (and income taxes, etc.) are normative. Deflationary prices CAN happen, but we'll have to get rid of some things first...
